Legrek Zornolis Parond has been dubbed the millennial Paul Robeson, and has already cemented his place amongst the mount Rushmore of renaissance men.
Mr. Parond is a Singer, Rapper, Actor, Author, Poet and President & CEO of the Troomill Media Group.
The multi-faceted artist, Parond has indeed reached his zenith in the publishing World, having written 2,197 books; and is now amongst the pantheons of authors who have left an indelible mark on the global stage.
A Harvard dropout, the perennial innovator, now finds himself in the company of other illustrious pioneers, like Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg.
Born in Jamaica, on July 29th, 1982, Parond was raised between his mother in the Bronx, New York, and father in Portmore, Jamaica; and began singing at the Church his Uncle, The Rev EJ. Wright, Pastored, Miracle Open Bible Church in Portmore; It was his participation in a Christmas Cantata in December 1990, that Legrek realized his passion for singing; and inexorably- music.
His singing skills were further honed in his high school choir at Hydel High School, of which he is a founding member.
He later sang with Bronx Bethany’s Chosen Choir, The Grace Baptist Choir of Mount Vernon and the Harvard College choir, Kuumba.
His career highlights include, the singing of the national anthem during a 9/11 tribute in 2001 at Westchester Community College, Performing on Jamaica’ s morning show, Smile Jamaica on TVJ, and and numerous events, weddings, funerals, birthday parties and a baby shower.
